Nike Auto Trainer: Fire Red

1 Sep

If retro style set on a vulc sole is your thing, then the Nike Auto Trainer is for you. Inspired by classic Nike Training (most notably the Trainer SC II) the shoe features an aggressive design blacked out using leather and suede. A simple white midsole provides the setting for this training inspired casual kick. Red accents grace the tip of the midsole, the eyelets, and tongue branding.

Nike Air Max 90: Neptune Blue

1 Sep

Neptune Blue has been a constant color scheme for Nike this year. We have since spotted it on the Air Max 1, the Air Max Triax ’94 and the Air Max Light. The latest sneaker to possess this vibrant color scheme is the iconic Air Max 90. The Neptune Blue hints show up in the form of the Air sole unit, laceholders and various branding. The rest of the upper contains white leather and a black net-like mesh material. These are shaping up to become one of my new favourite pair of Nikes this year. Look out for them soon.

10 Bespoke Nike Air Force 1s by “FLOSS”

23 Aug

During what could be one of the most epic Bespoke sessions ever, a lone man was able to design 10 Nike Air Force 1s. Many Bespoke customers remark that fitting all of the attractive available options on to a lone shoe is the most difficult part of the process. To counteract that problem, “FLOSS” just went and ordered ten different shoes. Materials range from kevlar to patent leather, suede to elephant print and so forth. How much did he have to drop on all of these… insane.

Nike Air Max Liquid Racer

23 Aug

Retro inspiration continues to push Nike’s design team with the Nike Air Max Liquid Racer. Taking design hits from the Huarache Light and Air Max 1, the shoe features a mesh and leather upper over a Phylon midsole with a Air Max unit in the heel. The upper is mostly black with a Lemon Twist design and Ink lines. White toe and heel pieces match the midsole.
Are you diggin these…question mark.

Jay-Z x Nike Air Force 1 “All Black Everything” Collection recently surfaced online. This collaboration, which only features two pairs of five new designs, is currently being auctioned off on eBay. Each pair in this collection is inspired by five countries: USA, France, China, Puerto Rico and Brazil. However, this time, each sneaker is obviously done up in all-black. Additionally, each sneaker features its own distinctive texture makeup and a multi-colored, translucent outsole that features the respective country’s flag colors.
Various materials include suede, patent leather, perforated leather, faux fur, faux snake skin and nubuck.

Check out the new Nike Pepper Low in all of it’s leather bounded goodness. This series caught the eyes of unexpected audiences with its simple lines and basic color scheme. Black leather is used on the entire upper, as well as the metal eyelets. A white vulcanized sole accents the heel and tongue branding with the laces.

A bright blue is used as contrast on the heel and tongue. How Swagg do these look?

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV: Skills Academy PE

27 Jul

Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV Skills Academy PE have just surfaced on the web and I’m sure they’ll get a few sneaker enthusiasts riled up. This sneaker was worn by the participants in the 2010 LeBron James Skills Academy. It has a red-colored upper constructed of leather and mesh. Black hints show up in the form of the midfoot strap which also contains a white pinstripe-like design (and for some reason, reminds me of a nike sandal), the inner lining and Nike/LeBron James branding throughout the base.  To finish it off, this Soldier IV is complimented with a black and red visible Air sole unit.

These are rare, because only players are able to cop them. So your chance of getting a pair are slim to none. It was fun lookin’ at them for the time being though… right?
